Formed in 2021 in response to the withdrawal of coalition forces from Afghanistan,

Operation Snow Leopard is committed to facilitating the continued safe evacuation of high-risk individuals including women leaders, human rights defenders, lawyers, journalists, interpreters, and other vulnerable minorities who have been left behind.

So far, we have partnered with other trusted non-for-profit organizations to successfully evacuate:

1,301

vulnerable people and resettle them in other countries.

We have over 8000 cases, all of which need to be legitimized through our rigorous vetting and verification process. We then prioritize evacuations based on those individuals most at-risk and do not ‘sell’ safe passage out of Afghanistan.

As such, our evacuation efforts are fully funded by your generous donations and go directly to our evacuation efforts.

Nobody means to be a refugee (TEDx)

Our friends and allies did not ask to leave their entire life behind — their homes, families, communities, careers and dreams. Most are leaving with only a single suitcase or backpack. Can you imagine restarting your life in a foreign land in this way?

Meet our friend and Operation Snow Leopard volunteer, Feroz Mohamand and his wife, Gharghashta Katawazai share their story of uncovering an assassination plot, and being forced to leave the country they love. They lost everything except their resilience and each other.
